What We Do

Home School Music Lessons CT provides private music lessons in Newington Connecticut to the Greater Hartford community. We offer students of all ages lessons in piano, drums & percussion, guitar, bass, music theory, ear training and more!

Music education helps prepare young people to think creatively, to work collaboratively, and to become disciplined, critical thinkers and problem solvers.

This is a great place to receive music instruction including piano lessons, guitar lessons, drum lessons, bass lessons, music composition, recording, and music production. We are available for home school students looking for daytime music lessons in Newington, Wethersfield, Rocky Hill, West Hartford, Berlin, New Britain, Hartford, and any other town in Greater Hartford. We also provide music lessons via Skype.

We help students prepare for college & regional auditions. We will tailor your student’s instruction to best fit their needs. We have recitals for all students who want to participate.

We have taught students of from age 4 to 64! We also have worked with special needs children. We have a caring patient approach for students with learning challenges. Call us to set up a time to stop by and meet the teachers to see if we are right for you!

Michael Montgomery, Director

Michael Montgomery has been providing quality music education to the Greater Hartford community, and via Skype Lessons. He studied classical percussion performance & piano at The Hartt School / University of Hartford. Michael has been teaching & performing for over 30 years and is currently playing professionally in the Hartford CT area.
